Jennifer Wobito
- Make-Up Department
Born and raised in New Jersey, Jennifer came from a very creative
family due in no small part to her mother, Jayne. Jennifer especially enjoyed
watching her mother get ready for her hot dates with Steve, her now
husband.
Not really what one might call an academic, Jennifer, a lefty, could paint faces well, and liked to use her hands, so she attended the School of Visual Arts, majoring in illustration. The assignments came and she wanted to paint faces - but that was about it. Dazed and confused, she volunteered to do make up for a student film and realized that it was even more fun to paint faces on real people. She took some make up classes and worked on some more films and knew that make up was the only thing she could really see herself doing. Needing a steady paycheck, Jennifer headed to Fifth Avenue. After working as a resident make up artist for Saks, Barneys, and Bergdorfs, and applying make up to thousands of real faces, Jennifer decided to break free from retail hell and be her own boss.
