He wrote the song "I Do" for his friend's wedding, when he recorded
songs for his "Calm Before The Storm" album, he put it on there and it
made the Top 10 on the country charts in 1996.
He does a lot of charity work for Alberta Children's Hospital,
Christian Children's Fund and Foster Parents Plan.

Paul and his wife Elizabeth welcomed their first child, a son named Joseph, on May 15, 2008.
