Maud Bredius

Indonesian born, Dutch actress Maud Bredius (25% Indonesian blood and a drop of Chinese) has lived in Paris, London, Israel and NYC. Her home base is Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Maud studied Meisner Technique (and some Grotowski) for 2 yrs at the Meisner/Esper Acting Institute in Holland and during a Summer Intensive at the William Esper Studio, NYC, with teacher Terry Knickerbocker (coach of a.o. Sam Rockwell and Daniel Craig)
She learned improvisation with Keith Johnstone ('Impro') and trained her voice with Kristin Linklater (Columbia University).
Maud studied Shakespeare extensively with Joe Weston; later she continued with Tim Carroll of Shakespeare's Globe, London (Tony Award); The Shakespeare Forum NYC and Shakespeare & Company, Massachusetts.
In film, television and on stage Maud has worked with a.o.: Hanro Smitsman (Golden Bear, Berlin Film Festival), Ben Sombogaart (Emmy Award), Remy van Heugten (Golden Calf Award, NFF), Mats Logen (Melech Filmfestival Tel Aviv, 3 Awards), Marcus Azzini (Top Naeff Prize) and Kylan Ting (winner Soho House Shorts).
