- Born at St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay, WI at 3:30 A.M., North American Indian/Irish/and Danish on Mother's side, and Belgium/German on Father's side. Pure American all the way around.
- Sold Fresh Corn off the Family Farm door to door in a little red wagon in our neighborhood and Doughnuts for the Cub Scouts to Green Bay Packer players as a kid living on 804 Raymond. What a great American neighborhood.
- Great Grand Father, Michael Patrick O'Connor survived the Chicago Fire of 1871 at the age of 22 (born 1849, year of California Gold Rush). The original copy of the Emancipation Proclamation did not, even though Mary Todd Lincoln was in Chicago at this moment in time. America's "1st Lady.".
- Michael Patrick O'Connor leaves Chicago at the age of 27 for the virgin north woods of Wisconsin to become a lumberjack in 1876 after U.S. Grant has kept the peace. Signs in Chicago read, "NINA" --- "No Irish Need Apply.".
- Great Grandfather Peter Rasmussen, an immigrant from Denmark, marries Great Grandmother Sophia Johansen, and they would have two boys, Walter, and my grandfather Charles, born 1888. GG Peter ran a general store on Main Street in Oconto (AKATO - American Indian Name), WI. 1st Christian Science Church (M.B. Eddy) in the World is completed down the street. It still stands.
- GG Michael and GG Mary O'Connor have three daughters:Ruth, Norine, and Florence. Grandma Ruth Marion is born the 18th of December, 1894.
- October 1, 1895, Grandpa Celest Parins is born and August 16, 1898, Grandma Anna Boehm is born. They marry in April of 1916, and have 11 Children. Grandma Anna's father tells his son-in-law the Mill Center farm outside of Green Bay is theirs if they pay the taxes. They live there until 1972, the year of Patsy Mink's Title 9, signed into law by President Nixon on June 23.
- Bob Parins helps Grandma Anna and Aunt Marie around the farmhouse with chores. A Packer equipment boy, Bob grows to be an attorney, Judge, and 1st full-time president of the Green Bay Packers in 1982.Bob is born at the end of WWI, B-4 the Packers, who were financed by Mr. Nate Abrams along with Curly, experiences all the teams 13 Super Championships. 97 on Aug 23, 2015.
- Ruth Marion O'Connor and Charles Edmund Rasmussen marry and on the 21st of April, 1927, my mother is born. Later they would adopt Uncle Jack, born the 25th of August, 1923 who would serve as on a Navy Bomber in the Pacific during WW2 and would marry Joanne Sanders in 1945. California Jack!.
- Dad Milton George Parins, is the fifth child of Anna and Celest Parins, born the 20th of February, 1924. He would need his mother's signature to join the U.S. Marines on the 26th of January, 1942 as he was only 17. At the G.B. train station headed to Milwaukee, it's the only time he saw his dad cry.
- Milton Parins is a Communications Sgt. at the Battle of Okinawa, 6th Marine Division, June of 1945. Now age 21, at Sugar Loaf Hill, he meets Chuck Dooley from Wyoming in a fox hole. On his last detail laying lines, his private and corp man were killed by An Enemy Sniper. Sugar Loaf Hill, June of 1945, a bad place to be, especially if you were a United States Marine.
- Marion and Milt marry in 1949 and we grow up on 804 Raymond and they later move our tribe to the Oneida Indian Reservation residing on Kiowa Trail, across the creek from the Oneida (Indian) Golf and Riding Club. White Potato (no E at the end) Lake is our childhood refuge where we water-ski, trail ride, snowmobile, and live our Midwestern American dream. Unbelievable.
- Dad puts in a a Pickle Patch for sister Joan and him across the railroad tracks on Grandparents Anna and Celest's farm in 1969. "America Lands on the Moon," Grandpa Celest rises at 5 a.m to milk cows just as he has done every day for 40 years. All 4 of his sons come home in one piece. A Lucky Belgium.
- Kinder at Lincoln Elementary (G.B.), & Abraham Lincoln Law School (L.A.) A 3 peat champion point guard at Green Bay Premontre (1st in School History) , academically scored a 34 on his ACT, and became an officer in the J-ROTC program (one of three in the state) leading a squad and then a platoon.
- 509 Ontario was last address at the U of Minnesota (Sigma Nu)and Choctow Favre* would throw his 508th Touchdown Pass outdoors (and last one) across the street. Finished Grandma's Marathon, and "The Babe*" passed for one, most of it a Lambeau. 20 years: Get Up, Dress Up, and Show Up. GoFarver!.
- Apprenticed at Stanford from 1983-1985 working for an alum, joined clubs at the Stanford GSB, laid the hardwood at Tressidor Union (and pitched it at Skywalker Ranch), performed at Menlo Players Guild, danced at the Viennese Ball, windsurfed on Lake Lag, and watched Joe Montana from the 50 yard line at Stanford Stadium be the first 18-1 Super Champion in NFL history. WOW!.
- 1985, Landing in London in July where Sting and Phil Collins were singing, traveled Europe, went across the Wall at 'Checkpoint Charlie' into east Berlin. Returning to U.S., first address was 8912 Hollywood Hills Rd. 1st interview was on El Camino. Upon leaving, Mr. Kirk Douglas walked out of the office to my left. Then saw Bruce sing "Born in the USA" at the Coliseum.
- Studio Courier late '80's meeting many Hollywood Heavyweights in their homes. Stage Manager at Beverly Hills Playhouse. SAG Card from brother of late Jane Greer, famous for "Out of the Past" and "Against All Odds." Later met Mr. Taylor Hackford at premiere of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".
- Fan of "Mr. Ed" as always loved being around animals. When Grandpa Celest was on his first tractor, going into the barn, he was so used to horses, to slow the tractor, he began yelling, "WHOA, WHOA!" Also love coaching (Boys Basketball at Harvard-westlake and Girls Volleyball at South Pasadena).
