Dez Bryant’s emotions got the best of him on Sunday night, causing him to exit the stadium during the final minutes of the Dallas Cowboys game against the Green Bay Packers and shed some tears in the locker room.
Dez Bryant Walks Off Sidelines, Cries
There was less than a minute left in the NFL matchup and the Packers, who’d been trailing the Cowboys for much of the game’s 60 minutes, were up by one and in possession of the ball. All they had to do was take a knee and they’d complete their impressive comeback. Bryant didn’t have the heart to watch it unfold.
"I was wrong," Bryant told reporters, according to Espn.com. "It didn't have anything to do with my teammates. I just ... I couldn't watch Green Bay kneel the ball down on the field after a tough loss like that.
"I was very emotional.

The Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant caused a rumbling in the sports world by refusing to concede the Detroit Lions' Calvin "Megatron" Johnson is a better receiver, ahead of the pair's meeting Sunday (Oct. 27) at Ford Field.
"I believe I can do whatever he can do," Bryant tells Espn Radio in Dallas. "I think it's just a pride thing. When it comes to football, just being on the field, it's a mindset and having a mentality. I honestly believe when I'm there, I'll be feeling like there's nothing I can't do. Whatever the coaches ask me to do, I'm going to do it."
Well, it's a good thing Dez is listening to the Cowboys' coaches and not the team's owner and general manager, Jerry Jones.
Jones has no qualms about handing the best in the league title to Megatron.

The Dallas Cowboys fired defensive coordinator Rob Ryan one day after running backs coach Skip Peete was also let go, Espn reports.
According to coach Jason Garrett, in a statement, "At this time, the decision has been made to move forward in a different direction philosophically on defense."

For a guy who was also fired from the same job in Cleveland two years ago, Ryan seems oddly confident that he will find a place on another team, saying, "I'll be out of work for like 5 minutes." Speaking with the Dallas Morning Star, he elaborated on that saying, "I have no hard feelings. But it doesn't matter if I coach here or not. I will find another spot," before adding, "I'm too damn good."
Maybe he can find a place with his twin brother, Rex Ryan, on the NY Jets coaching staff.

The Dallas Cowboys threw away their chance at a 2012 post-season with a 28-18 loss to the Washington Redskins, spurring many fans of "America's Team" to lash out at quarterback Tony Romo.
Jessica Simpson's ex-boyfriend -- who is now married to Candice Crawford with a newborn at home -- started the game against the Redskins off on the wrong foot by throwing two interceptions, and he ended the game the same way.
Romo's last play of the 2012 NFL season was an interception he threw when he was fooled by the Redskins' defense. While hordes of fans lament the move as "Romo being Romo," others argue the Qb holds numerous on-the-field records. The truth is, Romo just can't win those high-pressure elimination games.

Fans of the Dallas Cowboys are fed up. And they want President Barack Obama to do something about it -- namely, oust Jerry Jones as "dictator" of "America's Team."
A petition filed on the White House' web site, We the People, is categorized under "Human Rights." The petition reads:
"We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch's immediate assistance in removal of owner and Gm, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress."

The White House requires petitions to receive 25,000 signatures within 30 days to illicit an official response. At press time, the petition filed Nov. 23, 2012 had received close to 3,000 signatures.

After a Dallas Cowboys road loss to the undefeated Atlanta Falcons, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was "accidentally" locked out of his own team's locker room.
The Washington Post reports Jones was seen banging on the locker room door, and was angrier than he's been seen all season.
Jones has faced a good deal of criticism for his management of the team that now has a 3-5 record for the 2012 season. Still, he seems to have no plans to replace head coach, Jason Garrett.

Jerry Jones picked Jason Garrett to be Dallas Cowboys new head coach. The live press conference for the Dallas Cowboys just took place, and is still going on as I'm writing this. Earlier in the conference, Jerry Jones took the mic to announce that the current head coach Jason Garrett is going to remain the head coach for the time being. Jason will be the 8th head coach in the history of the franchise. He's the first head coach who's also played for the Cowboys in the past as a backup to Troy Aikman in the 1990's. Jerry Jones revealed his reasons for picking Jason during his speech, saying, that he produced a winning record of 5-3 when he took over the head coaching responsibilities during the half season change-up.

After watching his NFL Dallas Cowboys, dubbed America’s favorite team back in the 1970s, get totally thumped by the Green Bay Packers on national television, celebrity owner Jerry Jones had apparently finally seen enough. Celebrity owner Jerry Jones announced this morning that the Dallas Cowboys had fired Wade Phillips, their head coach for the last 4 ½ seasons, and will be replaced on an interim basis by offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. In a press conference late this morning, celebrity owner Jones, who has owned the historic Dallas Cowboys franchise since 1989, said that the team needed to move in a different direction (read politically correct for “I’ve freakin’ had enough). “We are grateful to Wade and his contribution to the Cowboys, leading us,” Jones said. “We also clearly understand we are not where we want to be at this time, and that’s an understatement. We share the responsibility - all of us.
