Almost a year on from the moment when Sony formally resurrected the iconic PlayStation mascot, developer Vicarious Visions has nailed down plans to launch Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on June 30th.
Bundling together HD versions of Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Game Director Dan Tanguay firmly believes the N. Sane Trilogy represents a “Aaa remaster,” and all involved have made a concerted effort to ensure the PS4 release offers up the original experience with a new lick of paint, from the core gameplay right down to level design.

It was only a few months ago that we learned that Crash Bandicoot was rising from the grave. Now, at PlayStation Experience 2016, we got our first look at the gorgeous Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
Recreating the first three classics in the franchise, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a meeting of the past and present. The classic level design and charm of Naughty Dog’s iconic series are being fully re-created to take advantage of the PlayStation 4’s power, and from the footage shown off today, it certainly looks like they’ve done a good job so far.
