Exclusive: The Blackhouse Foundation has partnered with Starz #TakeTheLead on a new producers’ fellowship, continuing its legacy of championing accomplished Black female creators. Those selected to participate in its first year are Sue-Ellen Chitunya, Jessica L. Funches, Moira Griffin, Dahéli Hall, and Trevite Willis.
Designed to support female-identifying, mid-career producers working in episodic, the fellowship’s participants were selected from The Blackhouse Foundation’s alumni pipeline to convene this weekend during a three-day intensive in Los Angeles. Over the course of its run, they’ll benefit from educational workshops, personal and professional mentorship and coaching, and a series of industry meetings with key stakeholders.

The Independent Filmmaker Project (Ifp) has announced the 10 projects selected for the third annual Screen Forward Labs running in New York from April 24-28.
The Ifp’s year-long fellowship for content creators with serialised projects provides participants with $10,000 worth of services and a comprehensive mentorship to bring their projects to fruition.
The Screen Forward Labs will culminate with all projects pitching to investors, distributors, tech companies and network executives at Ifp Film Week 2017.

The coolest thing about this cast list is that it's populated by veteran voice actors and not simply sprinkled liberally with television and film actors putting in a couple of hours in the booth. "Dishonored" had a great cast of performers turning in one of the more uninspired collection of voice overs in recent memory.
