Live Nation has acquired Jonathan Wolfson’s Wolfson Entertainment, whose management roster includes Daryl Hall & John Oates, Loverboy and Nelson.
Wolfson’s firm now joins such Artist Nation management ventures as Guy Oseary’s Maverick (Madonna, U2), Wassim “Sal” Slaiby’s Sal&Co (The Weeknd), Gee Roberson’s, Cortez Bryant’s and Shawn Gee’s The Blueprint Group (Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy), and Ron Laffitte’s Patriot (Charlie Puth, Pharrell, Ryan Tedder, Backstreet Boys), among others.
“This is a great opportunity for the artists on my roster, and it’s very exciting to join the impressive Live Nation team,” says Wolfson,. “I’m grateful to Michael Rapino for bringing us into the fold, and we look forward to a long, successful partnership.”

The veteran Hollywood publicist died yesterday at his home in St. Augustine, Fl. Mack Newberry was 89. A protege of Lee Solters, he spent more than a decade at Solters Roskin Friedman in Los Angeles, working with clients including Carol Burnett, Rita Moreno, Donny and Marie Osmond, Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme and Marty Pasetta, who directed Oscar telecasts from 1972-88. Legendary Hollywood publicist Lee Solters has died at his home in Los Angeles, aged 89.
Solters, whose clients have included the Muppets, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Sir Paul McCartney, passed away from natural causes on Monday.
After serving as a part-time journalist in World War II, Solters started his career as a publicist and went on to represent some of the biggest names on stage and screen

Lee Solters, the savvy public relations executive who represented everyone from Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Michael Jackson to Led Zeppelin and "My Fair Lady," died Monday at his home in West Hollywood. He was 89.
Solters' clients in a career that spanned more than 70 years also included Claudette Colbert, Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, Carol Channing, Mae West, talk show host Robert Q. Lewis, Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Paul McCartney and Wings, the Eagles, Yul Brynner, Broadway impresario David Merrick, the Muppets, 20th Century Fox owner Marvin Davis and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
