John Brown(XXVIII)
John Brown is an evening news anchor at WOFL, FOX 35 in Orlando. He previously worked as host of the Daily Buzz from 2004 - 2006. and KTVI, FOX 2 in St. Louis. John also worked in TV news in Missouri, and as a radio talk show personality in Miami and St. Louis. John made international news when he walked off the set refusing to discuss a story about the Kardashians. His actions set off a firestorm in the media and even spawned the "No Kardashians For A Week Movement."
John is the author of a dozen books including Missouri Legends, The Missouri Almanac, The Missouri Timeline, 100 Things to do in Missouri Before You Die, 100 Things to do in Orlando Before You Die and Secret Orlando.
Brown graduated from Central Methodist University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He has been honored with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award (2004) and the Distinguished Alumni Award (2023). He was named Best Large Market News Anchor in Missouri (2020) by the Missouri Broadcasters Association, honored with an Emmy for his hosting of "50 Years of Disney Magic" (2021), and a Florida Broadcasters Association award for his show, "John Brown In Your Town" (2022).
