- Spencer was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and spent his childhood relocating with his family all around the States before settling in Atlanta, Georgia. From there he got taste for filmmaking through school projects and and interest in theater and arts. - Spencer Showalter is a Los Angeles based editor, director, producer and assistant director working in both narrative and documentary films. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Showalter went on to study filmmaking at the University of Florida State earning his degree in motion picture arts and completing his honors thesis in folk music production. Since then, he has worked with companies and musicians alike on short form projects, music videos and branded content.
