- Ike is of Indian parentage and grew up in what he calls "confusing surroundings". Fatherless from the age of one when his sister was born, the siblings lived together with their mother and aunt. As they grew up they came to refer to their aunt as a "second Mum" which lead to much confusion amongst those who did not know the family history.
