Adele is demolishing Sylvester Stallone‘s 18,587-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion. The singer purchased the home in 2022 for $58 million.
Adele, 35, plans to move into the house with her partner Rich Paul and 11-year-old son Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
The rebuild covers the entire property except for the outdoor pool and the Rocky statue from Stallone’s 1976 film in the backyard.
In June, Stallone shared with the Wall Street Journal that Adele was determined to keep the statue. He also mentioned that Adele has an eye for home design, saying, “I like what she’s doing, she’s making it gorgeous.”
That same month, Adele began to tear down the mansion.
Stallone had listed his home for $110 million but later cut the price down to $85 million. He ultimately accepted Adele’s offer of $58 million, roughly half of his original asking price.

Adele has many titles under her belt: singer, songwriter, 16-time Grammy winner, meme icon, and, a recent addition, gender-reveal pro. During the Aug. 12 show of her Las Vegas residency, the 35-year-old star helped fans Chris Dare and Shantelle Lord announce the sex of their baby on stage and brought plenty of humor to the special moment. Though signs aren't technically allowed inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the soon-to-be-parents snuck in a homemade banner that read, "Adele will you do our gender reveal?!?" Upon welcoming them in front of the crowd, Adele took an envelope from Chris and exclaimed, "Oh my god, I think it's, like, from a doctor!" which elicited some laughs from the audience.
Sitting on the steps of the stage without shoes on, Adele ripped open the envelope and announced, "Shantelle and Chris are having a baby . . . boy!" After sharing a hug with both of them, the...

Adele broke down in tears as she helped two fans with their gender reveal announcement on stage in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The singer noticed Chris Dare and his wife Shantelle Lord holding up a sign that read “Adele will you do our gender reveal?” at her Weekends with Adele Las Vegas residency show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Adele pointed out, “No one’s really allowed signs in here. I’m just obsessed that you got one in,” with the couple revealing how they’d travelled from New York and had been waiting to try and get the “Hello” hitmaker to do the honours.
Lord explained how she’d had the baby’s sex in a sealed envelope since the 12-week mark, but they’d waited until she was 18 weeks for Adele’s show.

A star, or several, are born, perhaps. Playing early as part of Locarno’s Open Doors Screenings, framing new features and shorts from Latin America and the Caribbean, “Rimana Wasi: Home of Stories” received a rapturous reception, establishing directors Ximena Málaga Sabogal, Piotr Turlej as talents to track.
“Angelo,” and “La Distancia Del Tiempo” have good word of mouth; there’s a large expectation to see the milestone queer doc “Eating Papaw on the Seashore.”
Briefly, a drill down on the shorts screening at Open Doors, a new and welcome addition to Locarno’s premier industry forum:
“Angelo” Alex Plumb, Bolivia
Solitary shoe shiner Angelo spends his days fending off monotony and the despair of life on the streets by cruising through realities. The film paints a delicate portrait of life outside all bounds, capturing the bold colors of the city in contrast to the grit of its avenues and mountain ranges.
