- Big Bank Hank was born on January 11, 1957 in Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for The Wedding Singer (1998), Kangaroo Jack (2003) and Everybody Wants Some!! (2016). He died on November 11, 2014 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.
- His lyrics for "Rapper's Delight" were actually written by Grandmaster Caz of the Cold Crush Brothers, a group Hank managed. He asked to use Caz's lyrics with the promise that he would help the Cold Crush Brothers get a record deal. But the record deal never materialized. Caz never recieved any credit or compensation for writing "Rapper's Delight".
