Formed his own advertising agency, The Lampert Agency, before retiring in 1976.
Also known for drawing the comic characters Green Lantern and The Atom.
Contributed gag cartoons for such famed publications as "Esquire" and "Saturday Evening Post."
Began his career working at Max Fleischer's studio where he helped ink such notables as Popeye and Betty Boop.
Created super crimefighter "The Flash" for DC Comics in 1940.
