Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Scott grew up in San
Leandro, California, a suburb of Oakland. He began his career in San
Diego, working on several small independent productions. Eventually
relocating to Las Vegas, Scott earned his Bachelor's Degree in Film at
the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has written, directed, and
produced several film projects as a part of local production company,
The Group Collectively, as well.
In addition to his work as Director of Photography, he played three of
the six roles in Kevin Kuehnast's first epic masterpiece, "20 and a
Girl".
Implements three signatures into all of his films: a Weezer reference, an Oakland A's baseball reference, and the presence of friend Donald McKay in a scene.
Got his start working on the nationally-syndicated boxing program "In
This Corner".
