A streaker who allegedly planned to attack Netherlands' Queen Beatrix was arrested yesterday (21.07.09). Vegan animal rights activist Peter Janssen is believed to have targeted the royal because she is regularly seen wearing fur in public. Janssen's lawyer Gerard Spong claims his client didn't deserve to be arrested. He said: "We think the police took action on the basis of an anonymous, vague tip." However, the public prosecution department insists the arrest was made after "extensive" testimony. The department seized two computers from homes in Wissekerke and Vught, where Janssen's mother lives. Janssen is suspected of preparing an attack and possessing a gun. Berlin -- A Dutch TV jury has found Osama bin Laden not guilty of the Sept. 11 attacks.
In the conclusion Wednesday night to the show "Devil's Advocate" on Dutch public broadcaster Nederland 2, the jury of two men and three women, along with the studio audience, ruled there was no proof bin Laden was the mastermind behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001.
