She practiced law as a lawyer for seven years, and was high-school
teacher for three years, classes of Economy, Public Relations,
Sociology, and Law.
With an excellent physical condition due to years of practicing classic
ballet, jazz dance, and step dancing, tall and beautiful, she won the
first prize of the national song festival (Caldas da Raínha, 1970).
She became an itinerant singer, dancer, and show presenter through 1974
to 1979, in pubs and theater halls, excelling as an interpreter of
Edith Piaf songs.
She has a few music albums, "A Banda do Casaco" (group album), and as
soloist in "Livre de Ti", "O Jardim da Celeste", and "Milagre num só
Céu" (music CD, 1996).
She was invited artist in TV shows, namely, "Muita Louco", "Verdade ou
Mentira", "Brincadeiras 94" (for deficient children), "Palavra Puxa
Palavra", "Eterno Feminino", "Joaquim Letria", "Arca de Noé", and "Big
Show SIC".
In 1994, she was the presenter of two successful television quizz
shows, "Queridos Inimigos" (32 episodes), opposing male and female
teams, and "Doutores e Engenheiros" (26 episodes), opposing rival
school teams.
