Originally from Zimbabwe, Tinashe lived in the United Kingdom and Kenya
before moving to the States for college. Attended the University of
Illinois where she studied under Tony Award-Winning director Daniel
Sullivan. Moved to New York City where she did a Broadway and several
Off-Broadway productions before relocating to Los Angeles in 2008.
Was inspired to become an actress after watching the movie, "Out of Africa" and living on the Kenyan farm once owned by Karen Blixen about whom the movie was created.
Her father is Zimbabwean and her mother is German-American. Tinashe was born in Durham, England and grew up in Zimbabwe and Kenya before moving to the U.S for college.
Has an older brother and younger sister who are both doctors.
