A day after the first NFL player to contract Covid-19 was revealed publicly, we now have a second. All-Pro Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller today admitted testing positive for the coronavirus.
His agent, Joby Branion, told NFL Network about Miller’s condition. The former Super Bowl Mvp is expected to issue a statement Friday but was described as being in good spirits and resting at home.

The Broncos issued a statement on Miller’s diagnosis:
“After experiencing flu-like symptoms, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller has tested positive for Covid-19. Von has elected to share his diagnosis publicly to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with coronavirus.
“Von is doing well and recovering at home in self-isolation.

Tom Dempsey, who was born without toes on his right foot but because a lethal long-distance kicker in the NFL because of that, died Saturday from coronavirus complications. He was 73 and his death was announced by the New Orleans Saints, his former team.
