Violence in video games normally happens within the world of the game, but when you bring gaming into NBC’s Grimm, you kinda know things are going to get more involved than that.
In tonight’s “Nameless," a killer plays a deadly game and it’s a pleasant surprise that Sergeant Wu (Reggie Lee) is the one who ends up playing a vital role in solving the case.
Lee jumped on the phone with me yesterday to tease the episode, as well as what he knows about when Wu might find out about the beastly goings-on happening right under his nose, along with who in the cast he spends time with on the tennis court.
Tvf: Let’s talk “Nameless.” How would you describe the episode?
Rl: This is their take on Rumpelstiltskin. The crime happens at a video gaming company and [the crime] happened in such a way that [the killer] is involved...

I love the art of animation, and it's amazing to see how far things have come and advanced over the years. The industry is changing in terms of technology, but what it all really comes down to is telling good stories. There's been a lot of great animated movies this year, and many of them are up for several awards at the 40th Annual Annie Awards.
Some of the movies nomainated include Brave, Frankenweenie, Hotel Transylvania, ParaNorman, Rise of the Guardians, The Pirates! Band of Misfits, and Wreck-It Ralph. Out of those films my favorite is a toss up between Wreck-It Ralph and ParaNorman, those were two pretty incredible films. I think ParaNorman has the edge though.
Some of the other animated properties nominated are Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1, Disney Tron: Uprising, Justice League: Doom, Robot Chicken ‘DC Comics Special', South Park ‘Raising the Bar’, and several others.

2012 will be the first year that GeekTrant will invade WonderCon, mostly due to the fact that it was moved down to Anaheim, CA this year which is right in our backyard. We're all pretty excited about attending this year, as we've heard it's a much smaller more intimate version of San Diego Comic Con.
WonderCon is set to open on Friday, March 16th and run through Sunday, March 18th at the Anaheim Convention Center. If you plan on attending let us know, and maybe we can meet up and hang out for a bit!
I've put stars next to the panels we are interested in attending. Check out the schedule, and let us know what you are looking forward to seeing most!

The winner of the Best Video Oriented 404 Error Message on the Internet Award used to go to Hulu. When you stumble upon a nonexistent URL on the on demand streaming video service for premium entertainment programming - like http://www.hulu.com/a-fox-program-the-day-after-it-airs (zing!) - you’re redirected to an error message and a montage of Homer Simpson D’oh!s. Pretty neat-o, right? What could possibly make the unpleasant experience of incorrectly typing in a web address more pleasant than a clip from one of the best television shows of all time? How about an Army special ops scene about a covert operation to track down a missing web page conceived by the creators of an Android/iPhone app that’s more or less a food-centric Instagram that’ll tell you what to order? Alex Cornell, Philip Mills, Dan Clegg, Josh Vekhter, and Michael Chang all played a part...
