- He was a secondary school teacher for fifteen years. He taught Drama at Sandhurst Comprehensive School, English at Langleywood Secondary School, and Drama at Orleans Park School (where he was Head of Drama during the 2002/03 term).
- Was nominated for the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for his first full-length solo stand-up show, 'Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog' in 2010.
- Won the Laughing Horse New Act Of The Year competition in 2002.
- Was nominated for a British Comedy Award in 2011.
- He also taught drama at Langleywood Secondary School.
