First of all, bravo "Cougar Town."
I'm not going to lie -- there was a point at the beginning of the season when I wasn't quite sure where this train was going. But we're halfway through year one and, especially after seeing this week's episode, it's no mystery why ABC just ordered more.
The characters -- whether they belong to the cool, calm club or the crazy club -- are solid, and as we get to know them better, the laughs are just bigger.
But the addition of Lisa Kudrow as a guest character on Wednesday was interesting. Didn't Dr. Amy Evans say things to Jules (Courteney Cox) that you've wanted to say all season? You know, regarding her perky dial, her lack of confidence and such.
Sure, Grayson is good at making fun of Jules, and the girls -- Ellie and Laurie -- are also great at calling out her crazy.

This week's episode of Cougar Town was the much-hyped Friends reunion of Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, and the latter fit into the Cougar Town cast just fine. Kudrow guest starred as the town's master of botox, Dr. Amy Evans, that everyone can stand going to, but loved the results of.
Kudrow was great as Evans and the writers loaded her up with plenty of *itchy lines to use against Jules and Ellie. Our only complaint is that with how well Cox has aged compared to Kudrow it was weird hearing the doctor making fun of Jules' age lines.
The highlight of "Rhino Skin" was the always amazing Andy taking Travis under his wing and teaching him the ways of the woman. We finally learned how this short little balding man could land a hottie like Ellie.
Meanwhile, not to be left out of the episode, Grayson decided to mentor...

(S01E11) I have to open this review by saying I've never been a big fan of Lisa Kudrow's work. Phoebe, for the most part, was my least favorite character on Friends, and Kudrow always struck me as the kind of actor who plays one role really well, then just plays variations on that role for the rest of his or her career. When you like that signature character, you're fine with it. But when you don't, it just becomes grating.
Any role I've seen Kudrow in just reminds me of Phoebe, and the role she played last night, as mean skin doc Amy Evans, just felt like Phoebe when she was in one of her bad moods. So the overhyped Friends-reunion part of the episode didn't do much for me, for a lot of reasons. But the rest of the episode was just more evidence that this is...

Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox may be appearing on the same sitcom again, but they won't be playing friends.

Are You going to watch these long-time “friends” get together again on the small screen Jan. 6?
Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow is so there for you! It’s been six long years since the Friends have acted together onscreen, but the wait is thankfully over! Courteney “Monica Gellar” Cox-Arquette and Lisa “Phoebe Buffay” Kudrow, both 46, will reunite on the ABC comedy Cougar Town Jan. 6.
This time around, the ladies certainly don’t Act like friends. Watch the hysterical preview of Wednesday’s episode, in which Courteney’s character, Jules, makes a visit to one of the best—and meanest—dermatologists around, Lisa’s Dr. Amy Evans.
The two comedians still have flawless chemistry, and you’ll be guaranteed to giggle, if this preview is any indication. The funniest moment? Jules makes a desperate attempt to earn Dr. Evan’s approval, but is instantly shot down. “You need to take your perky...

The sneak peek to the forthcoming episode of "Cougar Town" has come out, featuring Lisa Kudrow as a dermatologist. The clip previews a scene where Courteney Cox's Jules Cobb gets a suggestion from her. The episode is titled "Rhino Skin" and will be aired on January 6.
On the character that will be played by Lisa, executive Producer Bill Lawrence previously said, "She plays a dermatologist who is a horrible, horrible person, but [Cox] goes to her because she's the best. The [sight] of them playing people who dislike each other intensely was very funny for me to watch." In addition to Lisa, the show will also have Scott Foley coming in as another guest.
Despite fearing the meanest and most unrelenting dermatologist in town, Dr. Amy Evans (Lisa Kudrow), Jules and Ellie are willing to endure the harsh ridicule and wrath for an appointment with the best in the business. But when Jules learns Dr.
