Ben Kopit broke into Hollywood as a professional writer with his script
The Libertine, which caught the attention of managers and agents around town. He signed with William Morris Endeavor Entertainment and manager Jesse Silver of Mindframe Films & Management in the summer of 2015. In August 2015, an executive at Warner Bros. read his script on a plane and immediately contacted the writer and made a deal, buying the script for 'mid-six figures'. The deal also includes a blind script commitment for another project at WB.
