- Grew up in an Air Force family and moved about every year-and-a half.
- Was directed by Steven Berkoff in The Hairy Ape, a play by Eugene O'Neill.
- Is an accomplished and award-winning designer and illustrator.
- Attended Atlantic Theatre Company's (David Mamet & William H. Macy) conservatory program in NYC.
- Trained in classical theatre with instructors Alfred Molina and Jack Stehlin at The New American Theatre, a Los Angeles based Theatre company.
- Earned his SAG card on the film Be Cool (2005). He was accidentally placed in the opening scene with stunt men and had to run from flying bullets and exploding glass windows.
- Worked with Grammy and multi-award-winning director Mark Romanek on several high-profile commercials - including a commercial for Apple.
- Studied Improvisation at Second City, Chicago. While there he spent countless Saturday nights watching a young Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Scott Adsit and Stephnie Weir perform on the main stage.
- Auditioned for Gore Verbinski, and was cast in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006), but unfortunately did not get to film any scenes due to unknown production circumstances.
- Graduated from Truman State University with a BFA in Visual Communications. Which coincidentally Jenna Fischer attended the same small Midwest university at the same time - but was in the theatre department.
- Was a state-qualifying wrestler in high-school, and ranked second in the state of Nebraska.
- Enjoys portraying historical figures, and has portrayed Edgar Allan Poe several times on stage.
