Shawn Robbins is a six-time Emmy award-winning producer, director, and writer whose career spans two decades of production work with preeminent names in professional sports, music, entertainment, and business.
Executive producer/show runner of NFL Slimetime. Also serves as the executive producer of the 2022 NFL Nickelodeon Christmas Day Game and as a producer/director at CBS Sports since 1998. In 2007, founded Robbins Media, Inc., a full-service production company that produces high-end media projects.
As the executive producer/coordinating producer of the 2021 Nickelodeon NFL Wild Card game, Shawn led the team to two Emmy wins as the broadcast earned unanimous praise among critics for its ability to re-frame the NFL in a manner in which appeals to younger audiences. On the heels of that success, in 2021, Shawn led the newly created Nickelodeon show NFL Slimetime to 3 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Studio Show. He currently produces content for Nickelodeon and multiple CBS Sports productions, including the Super Bowl, the NCAA Final Four, the SEC Championship Game, and the SuperStar Racing Experience.
As the former producer of the CBS Thursday Night Football pregame show, he led the team to a 2017 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Studio Show - Weekly. He also was the creator and co-writer for an animated sports vignettes series, which garnered Emmy nominations in both 2017 and 2018. Those vignettes aired within NFL Thursday Night Football, CBS's NCAA Men's Basketball tournament coverage, and on Sunday's NFL pregame show, The NFL Today.
Other notable projects include multiple commercial and promotional campaign projects for AT&T and CBS. Working alongside The Marketing Arm, Shawn directed more than 20 music videos for the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack. Those featured artists included Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, and Rascal Flatts. Shawn also wrote and directed a commercial featuring the Dave Matthews Band for AT&T's World's Loudest Pep Rally. For the London Olympic Games, Shawn directed seven short films for AT&T's "My Journey" Campaign, which starred Alex Morgan, Allyson Felix, and Kerri Walsh-Jennings, among other Olympians. In projects for CBS Sports Shawn has collaborated on multiple promotional campaigns including a 2006 Super Bowl commercial starring Prince which Shawn wrote and directed and a 2018 NFL AFC Championship spot featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Shawn has maintained an active membership within the Directors Guild of America (DGA) since 1996.
