Elisabeth Rouffaer
Coming from an athletic background as a dancer and gymnast, combined
with her modeling experience, Elisabeth Rouffaer is best known for her
appearances for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Before the WWE,
Elisabeth led a very active life in athletics and modeling. Beginning
with gymnastics, Elisabeth competed in the Junior Olympics and placed
eighth in the state of California. She was also a competitive tennis
player at only 13 years of age and arranged cheerleading routines
during her high school years. At age 26, Elisabeth joined the 2005 RAW
Diva Search, a contest where the winner would win a 1-year contract
worth $250,000 with the WWE. She passed the first week of competition
after completing WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter's Bikini Boot Camp
Challenge, even setting the fastest time. Ultimately, Elisabeth placed
third in the finals of the Diva Search before it was won by Ashley
Massaro on August 15, 2005. During the next month, despite the loss,
Elisabeth was offered a WWE developmental contract to train at Ohio
Valley Wrestling. However, in January 2006 it was reported Elisabeth
reconsidered the whole wrestling endeavor and decided to leave the WWE
and its developmental program. Possessing a very outgoing, adventurous
spirit, Elisabeth had nothing but good thoughts about her time with the
WWE and obviously moved forward with life and enjoys every minute of
it. She found fulfillment in the successful launch of her own clothing
designer line, first started in 2004.
