Began his long association with DC Comics in 1946 serving as a ghost artist for "Batman" and "Superboy" series.
Raised in Los Angeles, he studied art in Hollywood before moving to New York in 1940 to work in comic books. He began his career with the (Michael) Eisner & (Jerry) Iger art shop.
Prolific comic book artist, penciller and inker best known for his work in the "Supergirl" series for DC Comics in the 1960s.
