Selwyn Seyfu Hinds Signs Overall Deal With UCP, Will Adapt Graphic Novel ‘The Sixth Gun’ (Exclusive)
Selwyn Seyfu Hinds has signed an overall deal with UCP, which will see him adapt the Civil War graphic novel series “The Sixth Gun” into a TV series for the Universal Studio Group-owned studio.
Under the pact, Hinds will produce projects across various platforms through his production company Mad Massive Entertainment. First up is “The Sixth Gun,” based on the graphic novels from Oni Press by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt.
Per UCP’s description for the potential show, “During the darkest days of the Civil War, vile men unearthed six pistols of otherworldly power. But the Sixth Gun, the most dangerous of the weapons, vanished…until the day Becky Montcrief unknowingly grabs that very weapon from her dead father in a desperate attempt at self-defense — an act that hurls her into a terrifying new reality. One where men, and dark entities beyond men, will hunt the holder of...

Bridging the narrative gap between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3 will be a new Dlc chapter!
A new Dlc chapter for Borderlands 2 will set up the events of Borderlands 3, a leak has revealed. As is becoming increasingly common in the build-up to next week's slew of E3 2019 presentations, the news of this Dlc was accidentally posted online early, and it was widely shared around the web before it could be taken down.
As was unintentionally leaked on Steam, and swiftly circulated by Reset Era, we now know that a new Dlc chapter entitled Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary is being prepared by Gearbox as a free add-on to the previous entry in the sci-fi loot-shooter series. And given that Borderlands 2 is currently available for free as one of June's Ps Plus games (as part of The Handsome Collection), this Dlc should be easy and inexpensive for...

Voice actors don’t often seem to get enough credit since quite often they don’t get seen in their work and only heard. David Eddings is just one of many that seems to be left out at times unless a fan happens to notice that he’s making a contribution. But if you take a look at his resume you might notice that while he hasn’t done as much as some he’s done more than enough to be counted as a talented actor. The act of taking a character in a game, TV show, or movie and making it just right and

Borderlands 3's drama continues as Claptrap's former voice actor feuds with Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford.
There's been an ongoing piece of Borderlands 3 high school level drama going on between Claptrap's former voice actor and Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford that has unfortunately reached the point where it's hard to ignore.
The short-ish version of this story is that former Claptrap voice actor David Eddings claimed that he wasn't reprising his role in Borderlands 3 due to a dispute over pay. It might have died there, but Eddings referenced a reported $12 million bonus that Pitchford supposedly secretly received and suggested that it should have gone into the Gearbox account.
Pitchford responded to the accusation over pay and confirmed that Eddings was not paid extra for his performances in the first two Borderlands games. According to Pitchford, the company did not typically pay salaried employees for this work and he implied...

We talked to author Jennifer Estep about moving into the genre of epic fantasy storytelling with Kill the Queen.
Jennifer Estep is no stranger to fantasy. I’ve been reading her novels since her superhero romance Bigtime novels hit the shelves. She’s the author of two young adult urban fantasy series, as well as the Elemental Assassin series, which has already clocked over seventeen novels starring Gin Blanco, an assassin with elemental magic who also runs a barbecue joint.
With Kill the Queen, Estep has released her first novel in the epic fantasy genre. It suits her, as Kill the Queen is her strongest writing yet...
The novel introduces Lady Everleigh “Evie” Blair, distantly in line to the throne of Bellona. But when a Game of Thrones-worthy royal massacre kills nearly every member of the royal family, Evie only narrowly escapes. Not knowing who to trust,...

“Stranger Things 2” returns just in time for Halloween, both in the real world and in the eerie town of Hawkins, Indiana conceived in the nostalgic minds of The Duffer Brothers. The action picks up three days before Halloween 1984, which means that the year will soon be coming to a close. For those who may not have been alive or perhaps have a shaky memory of the time, 1984 was a big year for memorable events and in pop culture.
The first season reveled in bringing the time period alive in all of its totally ‘80s glory, from Dungeons & Dragons gaming sessions and Eggo waffles to homages to “E.T.,” “The Shining,” and “Rambo.” Hell, even star Winona Ryder’s presence is a timely tribute since she made her early career in such iconic ‘80s films as “Lucas,” “Beetlejuice,” and “Heathers.”

When times are tough, it's not a bad idea to binge the things you love...
‘Every single night the same arrangement, I go out and fight the fight. Still I always feel the strange estrangement. Nothing here is real, nothing here is right.’ - Buffy the Musical, Going through the Motions.
You may have noticed that things have gotten a bit crummy recently. Not the last few tasty cheesecake crumbs that you chase round the plate with a finger crummy. More full on soggy digestive biscuit dunked in coffee gone wrong crummy that sticks to the back of your throat.
