All four members of British indie band Viola Beach were killed in the early hours of Saturday morning when their car plunged from a bridge into a canal near Stockholm, Sweden. Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe, Jack Dakin and manager Craig Tarry — who were aged from 19 to 32 — perished in the fatal crash, the BBC reported. Kevin Randleman, a former Ufc Heavyweight Champion, died Thursday. He was 44. Born in Sandusky, Ohio, Randleman was one of the pioneers of ultimate fighting and mixed martial arts before fading from the sport’s spotlight in the mid-2000s. According to Bleacher Report writer Jeremy Botter, Randleman, who had been living in Las Vegas, was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and later passed away from heart failure. Most fighters would tell you that there is nothing more exhilarating than knocking someone out. Unless the fighter is a dedicated Jiu-Jitsu specialist, you’ll always hear a fighter get more excited about a knockout than submission. The added bonus to the knockout can be from being a heavy underdog or coming back from taking a significant amount of punishment. Those are the standards for a knockout to be considered as shocking. For it to be considered on a top ten list, the moment needs to be be spectacular.
The moment has to be considered at that present time, along with the state of both fighters’ careers. You can be a top three fighter in a particular division facing someone that may not be even in the top ten by most pundits. You lose focus for a moment and can be knocked out in less than a minute.
