Video Journalist in the Italian Pro Journalists Guild, Producer, Editor, Technical Director, Writer, Cameragirl. Based in NY. Valeria grew up in Naples (Italy), where she got her BA in Political Sciences (graduated with distinction: 110 cum laude/110) and her first Master's degree in Parliamentary Law. She moved to Miami for a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami. She started working in production with NBC6, Sun Sports, ESPN, TNT, Telemundo. Valeria worked as a journalist/interviewer, producer, field producer for RAI (Italian TV), RAI News, L'Equipe TV (FrenchTV), GQ Italia, ArtsLife. Valeria was the foreign correspondent of the press agency LaPresse. She worked as an Associate Producer, production coordinator and translator from Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, English for the Netflix Show "First Team: Juventus". She was also a camera-person for La Sexta, Sky, RT France. Presently, Valeria works as a video journalist for the main Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera and VSport - ViaggioSport (she is the founder of viaggiosport.com), mostly covering her two big passions: travel and sports. She also collaborates with BBC radio covering sports. Valeria is the only Italian journalist to have interviewed all the main NBA players. She covers basketball, boxing, soccer (football), and other sports. Valeria is also a producer and technical director for RAI (RAI1, RAI 2, RAI3, RaiNews24, Rai Sport) and Global Vision Group.
Valeria is publishing a book called "Taste of Italy in New York" with recipes given from the chefs of authentic Italian restaurants from the present and past. She worked in logistics at the Rio Olympics (2016) and managed award ceremonies at the Napoli University Olympics (2019). A former long distance open water swimmer in the Italian national team (5 to 25K races), she used to teach hydro bike (spinning in the water), water fitness, Pilates, swimming.
