Great American Family’s biggest time of the year is here. The network, run by former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott, is leaning in to the holiday season big time, after seeing a year of massive growth.
According to the year-over-year data, Gaf is up 150% in total viewers in 2023 compared to 2022, and the success can be credited to multiple factors, Abbott tells Variety.
“One of the biggest parts of our growth has been our talent, and the fact that we have such recognizable stars in our stable of talent — and that they are relentless in promoting Great American Family,” he says. “That, in and of itself, has created the awareness necessary to grow like we have.”
Candace Cameron Bure, Trevor Donovan, Jen Lilley, Danica McKellar and Jessica Lowndes all have exclusive deals with Gaf, while their Christmas movie lineup also includes Matthew Morrison, Chad Michael Murray, Lori Loughlin, Jill Wagner and James Tupper.

The actress and fitness instructor, who developed, co-wrote and executive produced the new film, recalled how she came up with the concept back in July of 2020, just two weeks after Cordero tragically passed away due to complications from Covid-19.
In the film, Kloots, 40, stars as Aubrey, “an enthusiastic Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor at a beloved, financially beleaguered community center in quaint Mistletoe, Montana who begins a holiday romance with a charming, mysterious businessman (Hallmark star Paul Greene), complicating his plans to turn the center into a more financially profitable resort property,” as per the synopsis.

Candace Cameron Bure was the undisputed queen of Hallmark Channel’s slate of popular holiday fare, with more than 30 credits to her name. Who could forget her work as a high-strung doctor who moves to Alaska in “Christmas Under Wraps”? Ok, just because you haven’t heard of it, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a huge hit. As Helen Brouchard would put it, Brava!
When Calls the Heart Season 8 Episode 12 had a lot to address, and they did it with heart-swelling feelings.
The biggest achievement is that the long-gestating love triangle was brought to a close honestly and compellingly.
But, as usual, we're going to start slow, building up to the largest story coming out of Hope Valley on a day their stories finally found a voice again.
Ned's awkwardly timed out-of-town trip finally ended, and there is a potential windfall in Ned and Florence's future.
No, historically, a man named Ned from the fictional town of Hope Valley didn't create the adhesive bandage. But it sure feels authentic to the Ned we've come to know that he did.
Whether he'll get that patent, we don't know. It's possible that the story will find Ned a step behind creator Earle Dickson, but I don't know how patents work around the world,...

If you're already adrift without another Hallmark Original Series to watch, you're not alone.
But we have good news today as Crown Media announced new original programming and some renewals we've been waiting for.
Most importantly, there are two renewals to announce that join When Calls the Heart for (fingers crossed) a 2021 release.
Good Witch will return for a seventh season, and Chesapeake Shores will return for a fifth season!
Hurrah!
As you know, Good Witch Season 6 just ended on quite the cliffhanger.
It was the first season in which Bailee Madison didn't appear as Grace, and in Rhys Matthew Bond only made guest appearances as Nick.
Without the younger cast, the adults got a lot more storylines, and love flourished.
Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Sam (James Denton) celebrated their one-year anniversary and began to grow under each other's influence.
The proved that there is always something left to learn about your partner.

Really?
When Calls the Heart Season 7 Episode 10 packed a heckuva wallop, but that doesn't mean we have to be happy about it.
Knowing that there is more Wcth to come for us adoring #Hearties, though, makes this hour just a little bit sweeter.
We're going to start slow, people, so settle in for the ride.
Fiona, sweet Fiona, is here to stay -- for now. Does that mean that when When Calls the Heart Season 8 begins, Fiona will be doing something other than fielding phone calls and making repairs?
I sure hope so because Kayla Wallace has a lot of talent, and I've been waiting for her character to branch out and give that girl some room to shine!
And if the finale is any indication, there is going to be at least one more eligible bachelor in Hope Valley. But we're not there yet!
