Kate Linae was born in England, and her parents moved to New Mexico
when she was five years old. She began dancing (primarily ballet) at
age 3 and acting at age 12, both in school and community theater. She
was discovered by a small, local talent agency who set her up with an
agent in Los Angeles.
Kate's television credits include guest-starring roles on
The Division (2001),
Malcolm in the Middle (2000),
_Suspects_, _The Man Show_, and
Numb3rs (2005).
She had supporting movie roles in
Exorcist Chronicles (2007)
and a short film,
Mrs. Marshall (2004).
She has appeared in about a dozen commercials, including a Budweiser
public service spot that debuted during the 2001 Academy Awards and
aired during Super Bowl XXXVI and a trade commercial for Sony. Kate can
be seen in a Cingular commercial as a modern-day Cinderella.
