Jordi Call is a director, writer and cinematographer. He is known for the non-fiction series "Núñez" (2023), focused on the figure of Josep Lluís Núñez, real estate businessman and president of FC Barcelona for 22 years.
Between 2017 and 2020, he was co-director of the two seasons of the non-fiction series "Six Dreams", for Amazon Prime Video, which narrates the lives of six professionals in the Spanish soccer league over a whole season. The series has premiered in more than 200 countries and won two Daytime Emmy Awards (Best Entertainment Program in Spanish and Best Graphic Design).
He was the cinematographer of "Salvados" (2008-2017), a Spanish TV Show directed by Jordi Évole, from the beginning in 2008 until 2017. During his time in the TV Show, the program received many awards, among which three Ondas Awards. In 2015, he was nominated for the Spanish Television Academy Awards as best cinematography.
In 2022 he was the director and writer of two feature-length documentaries: "Més enllà de La Cubana" and "L'empremta de Joan Fuster". The first one is a human portrait of the 40-year history of the theater company La Cubana. The second one is a co-production of the three Catalan-language public television stations: À Punt, TV3 and IB3 and brings back the figure of the writer Joan Fuster on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
