Anna Rosh

Anna was born in Ivano-Frankivsk, a historic city located in the
western Ukraine. Anna's father was a marine whose career relocated his
family to Saint-Petersburg, Russia. A natural performer since a very
young age, Anna and her older sister Ekaterina loved to stage shows for
family and friends. Anna's mother, a musician, made sure Anna and her
sister learned piano, violin and singing. At the age of 8 Anna's sister
took her to a dance class in a local hall, where she discovered her
magical passion for ballroom dancing. When Anna was 10, her parents
separated. Anna was devastated, but dancing was an outlet for her
feeling and emotions. Within a year, Anna become a winner of a local
dance competition, and a few years later Saint-Petersburg champion and
Russian national finalist multiple times in latin dance. For almost a
decade, Anna was competed and won International ballroom events in
Europe. Then she came to Toronto, Canada to continue her successful
career as a ballroom teacher and competition adjudicator. Her years in
dance are best characterized by determination and hard work. Anna's
expertise led her to coach and partner with Antonio Banderas in the
feature film,"Take the Lead." From this life changing experience, Anna
discovered her passion for acting. Her next "step" was to follow her
heart,and move to LA. She has now completed the 2 year conservatory
program at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film institute. Anna speaks
fluent English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Interests include: modern art,
classical music, live theater and musicals. Reading novels, poems,and
books with psychology, social and spiritual context are her favorite
hobbies.
