- Writer/Director/Animator for "Dance Like a Monkey", an animated music video for the New York Dolls. It won Best Music Video at the 2006 Bradford Animation Festival in the UK.
- Co-Writer/Animator/Voice for 2 Austin Film Festival Trailer Ads that ran throughout the 2002 and 2003 festivals. Made with Tate English, "The Pitch" featured Mark Twain pitching "Huckleberry Finn" with a cast of Haley Joel Osment and Will Smith, while "The Teaser" portrayed Ernest Hemingway watching a teaser trailer for an adaptation of "The Old Man & The Sea" as a buddy action flick starring Will Smith, Nathan Lane, and Scarlett Johansson (all celebrities were impersonated).
- Writer/Director for "Captain Can Takes on Garbage". This educational recycling video was made for the City of Austin in 2001 in Dano's senior year at the University of Texas at Austin.
- Wrote, directed, and animated three web ads for Kinky Friedman's 2006 campaign to be governor of Texas. The ads starred Friedman, Little Jewford, Billy Joe Shaver, Kelly Willis, Bruce Robison, and Danny Levin. The first ad won a 2006 Telly Award for best online/internet ad. The ads were made for North Woods Advertising.
- Co-wrote, directed, and animated 'The Bright Knight', an animated web ad for Charlie Wheelan for Congress 2009. A parody of the Dark Knight, Charlie Wheelan promises to be a Bright Knight, shining light upon the crimes and incompetence of Bush (Joker), Cheney (Penguin), and Blagojevich (Two Face). Made for North Woods Advertising, the web ad was part of a series of creative ads that set economist Wheelan apart from politicians as usual.
- Directed and animated 'Bad Brownies', an animated short for Current TV. Based on the infamous 9-1-1 call, a cop and his wife use confiscated marijuana to make brownies and start hallucinating. The short instantly went into heavy rotation on the Current TV channel.
- Wrote and directed 'She Left Me for Jesus', a live-action music video for Hayes Carll based on his hit, award-winning song. The video premiered on the Don Imus Morning Show in August 2008 and starred Hayes Carll, Jesse Dayton, Emily Kaye, Arthur Simone, Tim Crane, Little Jewford, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore.
- Co-wrote and directed 4 animated web ads for healthcare4every1.org - "The Insur-Animals." A team of health-insurance lobbyists and circus animals are mutated into a team of anti-health care, animal-headed superheroes: Deductibear, Denial Crocodile, Co-Pay Cobra, and Premiums Porcupine. Together, they stop doctors, nurses, small businesses, and patients from giving and receiving good medical care and advice.
