Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Pete George is the son of the first accordion
soloist in the military at West Point, Gilbert George. Pete's mother,
Patricia Church is an eleventh generation New Yorker from Brooklyn.
Pete George has been a stand-up comedian and actor for over 25 years.
After several years of playing lead guitar in a Cleveland based rock
band, Pete ventured into a series of comedy competitions. A quick
string of wins set him off on a US comedy tour, performing over 8,500
shows at the country's most popular venues.
On the Hollywood side, Pete's first acting job was on the seven-time
Oscar nominated film, "The Shawshank Redemption". His starring role in
"Round it Goes" written and directed by Joe Stillman (Shrek) has earned
Pete honors at 9 film festivals including a 1st place award and played
at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Pete also enjoys success as
a commercial actor and has appeared in several TV shows including
"Family Law" and "Strong Medicine" as well as a string of television
commercials.
