- Nick Blagona was born in Bavaria, Germany. He was a producer, known for Zero Patience (1993), Dead Reckoning - Don't Bring Me Down (2013) and The Tea Party: Angels (2001). He was married to Mary-Jane Russell. He died on January 4, 2020 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

- In 1972 he built the recording studio Le Studio in Morin-Heights, Quebec with André Perry and Yaël Brandeis. As in-house engineer his credits include recordings for Chicago, Rainbow, The Bee Gees ("You Should Be Dancing" ), The Police, The McGarrigle Sisters, Uzeb, Robert Charlebois, and several by Cat Stevens and Nazareth.
- Attended McGill University and Radio College of Canada. Upon graduation he went to England to apprentice as an engineer at Decca Studios, which led to a staff position at Wessex Studios.
- Emigrated to Canada as a child in the1950s by Red Cross boat. His family settled in Montreal.
