- Is been known to be a great fan of the TV Show Friends (1994) since its beginnings as well as follower of the TV Series The West Wing (1999).
- Plays guitar since age 14. Has also played on occasions along with long-time friends Director Frandu Almeida and Engineer Javier Insausti.
- Has been declared to be great fan and admirer of directors Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Darren Aronofsky, David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Fernando Meirelles, Bryan Singer, Richard Linklater, and writers such as Charlie Kaufman, Guillermo Arriaga, and others.
- Improvisation and intense deep human inter-relations emphasis are common trademarks for director Rodrigo Rueda. Also the non-usage of storyboarding for most scenes.

- Although born in Mexico City he has only lived in Mexico for 2 years and half. Most of his life he has lived in other countries and cities such as Honk Kong (U.K. Territory at the time), Montevideo (Uruguay), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Miami (U.S.), and back again to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

- Designed his first web-page at age 12. Nowadays runs and edits the official web- page from the production company he co-founded Groovy Filmes (www.groovyfilmes.com), as well as the production company's first full-feature film site: www.poliamore.com.
- Besides studying filmmaking he is also majoring in Physics from the Brazilian University PUC-Rio.
- In the year 2004 he co-founded the production company entitled Groovy Filmes with long-time friends director Frandu Almeida and producers Estevam Allevato and Roberto Peralta. Afterwards in the year 2005 the production board was formed by Frandu Almeida, Carlos Lacerda, Felipe Vasoncellos' and himself. Until finally, in 2009, being formed by Frandu Almeida, 'Andrés Nicolás', Celso Munoz and himself. Since the creation of the production company they have produced several award-winning short-films, commercials, publicity videos, a half-length feature, a documentary and a full-length feature still in production nowadays.
- Studied for a year and a half at Florida International University in Miami engineering/physics before returning back home to family and friends to Rio de Janeiro and transferring there to continue studying Physics at PUC-Rio University.
- Studied high-school with long-time friends and film collaborators Estevam Allevato and Roberto Peralta (class of 2004), and graduated in the same class of 2003 along with Vitor Leite, Marcela Filizzola and Celso Munoz, and same high-school as João Atala (class of 2005).

Also finishing the last days of principal photography for his first long-feature film entitled "Poliamore" (2006) soon to be released. (May 2006)
