Caroline has twenty-five years of experience in the film and television industry working as a writer, producer, executive producer and director across Australia, Europe, North America and Asia. With roles spanning creation and development, to scripting and directing, you are as likely to have seen a documentary on Channel 4 as a series on SBS or Discovery that she has been involved in.
She has held staff roles as Head of Development at Winchester Pictures and Brighter Pictures (part of Endemol Group) in the UK and was Head of Television Development for Becker Entertainment Group and a Producer at SBS in Australia. As well as developing many of her own ideas and adapting a best-selling book for the small screen, she wrote the novelisation of the film Rainbow and completed an MA in Creative Writing in 2012 to harness a new way of storytelling.
Caroline's debut fiction novel 'Maggie's Kitchen', was published by Allen & Unwin in August 2016 in Australia & New Zealand and by Ebury Press in the UK in July 2017. 'Eleanor's Secret', her second novel was published in May 2018 in these territories simultaneously and 'Finding Eadie', a third novel, will be published in May 2020. She is working on other fiction, film & TV projects including adapting 'Maggie's Kitchen' as a ten part drama series.
