Ricardo Vigueras Fernández

Born in Murcia, Spain, Ricardo Vigueras Fernández has been teaching
Classic Culture, Greek Mithology, Greek and Latin in the Spanish
Literature Program at UACJ (roughly traslated as Autonomous University
of Juárez City, the most prestigious university in that city)since
1998, when the program started. Until last year, he's been traveling
back and forth from Murcia to Juárez in order to finish his doctorate
in his native's city university, which he successfully completed with a
Suma Cum Laudae distinction. Before becoming a professor, he had had
extensive experience as a theatre actor, playwright and director. He
ocassionally continues to work with the most active and prestigious
local theatre group, Telón de Arena (Sand Theatre Curtain). He's also
considered to be an authority in the subjects of comics, graphic
literature and movie history and criticism, on which he ocassionally
teaches and writes articles for local publications.
