Ryan J. Walker

Ryan J. Walker was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1977. In 2001, Walker
co-founded the Raven Film Company entering the film business as a
Marketing/Distribution specialist managing a multi-faceted film
initiative connecting independent filmmakers with major Hollywood
studios. Walker co-produced Blood of a Champion starring Bokeem
Woodbine and Deborah Cox which Codeblack Ent./Universal released in
2006. In addition to Blood of Champion, Walker produced Confessions of
Call Girl starring Lynn Whitfield, Tamala Jones, Clifton Powell, Bokeem
Woodbine and Angell Conwell which premiered at the American Black Film
Festival in Miami, Florida in 2006. As executive director of The Urban
Film Alliance, Walker created, produced and executed the highly praised
AXE Black Filmmaker Series, a 10-city tour featuring three
African-American independent short films.
