Kendra Cannoy

Growing up in the small gold mining town of Auburn, California this
little gem known as Kendra was first struck by the glitter of showbiz
at the very early age of 8. Some of her first performances included
selected scenes from "The Breakfast Club" and "St. Elmo's Fire" while
surrounded by a captive audience that included her parents and four
older brothers. As she would later tell columnist Lisa Zaffarese of the
San Francisco Chronicle, "It was great having such an understanding
family that was brave enough to endure the butchery of some of
Hollywood's most popular films of the day". From the family living
room, Kendra quickly moved on to regional commercials and then the
prestigious stage of the American Conservatory Theatre. After
graduating from the University of San Francisco and a very successful
stint as a dancer with the NBA Warriors, the little nugget from Auburn
was on her way to the glitter of Hollywood. Almost immediately she was
cast in several episodes of "Port Charles" as well as a guest star role
in the hit series "Silk Stalkings". At the same time Kendra like other
smart young actors continued to perfect her craft at a highly respected
film acting workshop. Recent roles in "Smith", Tuesday Night Book Club
and Sex, Love and Secrets gives every indication that this blonde
beauty from the California's gold country has every reason to be very
excited about her future in the film/television industry.
