- Canadian actress Miranda Millar was born to actor parents in Hamilton, Ontario. Because of this artistic upbringing, Miranda always knew she wanted to act. A proud ACTRA member since the age of 3, she performed in radio plays and starred in several commercials for companies such as Zeller's, Sears, CBC Radio, McDonalds and Walmart, just to name a few.
While acting is always in the forefront, Miranda is also extensively trained in classical violin and has spent several years in dance, with an emphasis on Jazz and a sprinkling of Lyrical and everything else.
In the last few years, she has appeared in Canadian TV series Angela's Eyes, Covert Affairs, Murdoch Mysteries, Mission: 4Count, and can be seen in the upcoming season of Reign. She also will appear in Christmas Inc, a Christmas movie by Hallmark out this December.

Not only was Miranda raised by two professional actor parents, she graduated from Humber College's Acting for Film and Television program with honours. After starring in many commercials as a child and an HBO film, she branched into television in an episode of Angela's Eyes directed by Chris Grismer. Her work snowballed from there, starring in several theatrical productions, and the season 7 premiere of "Murdoch Mysteries."
