Former Big Brother contestant Luke Marsden paid a visit to Judge Rinder on Wednesday (April 15).
The 27-year-old appeared on the ITV courtroom show to settle a dispute with his friend Andy, who borrowed his PlayStation 4, only to return it damaged.
He explained that he lent the console to Andy over the Christmas period to help him decide whether he wanted to buy one of his own.
"I was going on holiday around Christmas time and Andy had expressed interest in getting one," Marsden said. "I thought it would be great if Andy could see how great it was, so I lent him the kit so he could have it for ten days over Christmas."
Judge Rinder raised an eyebrow when the former reality star admitted to calling his console "precious", just as Gollum describes the ring in Lord of the Rings.
"It didn't end terribly well for Gollum as far as I remember,...

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has appeared on Judge Rinder.
The star was in court alongside fellow former Big Brother housemate Michael Cheshire on today's (February 11) episode of the ITV daytime show.
Horgan-Wallace brought Cheshire to court to try and claim £2,475 for an outstanding loan she made to him.
However, Cheshire said there was no deadline attached to the loan and he always wanted to pay it back.
While explaining their situation to Rinder in court, Horgan-Wallace described Cheshire as "a friend in need".
"At the point of me writing the cheque, I was just helping a friend who needed some help," she explained.
Summing up, Rinder described the experience of having the pair in court as "a mild thrill".
Horgan-Wallace, who came third on the seventh series of Big Brother, won her case in full, being awarded the full amount of the debt by the court.
