Sabrina Karine is a young French filmmaker. She arrived in Vancouver
in summer 2005 and co-directed her first short, "We're so screwed", in
summer 2006 with Jessica Brajoux. "We're so screwed" was nominated for
best picture editing at the Leo awards 2006.
Three months later, along with Jessica Brajoux, she wrote and directed
two others shorts, "Save my soul" and "Planet 6". While working on
these shorts, she started writing Smile of April her first feature
film. They auto produced it and wrapped production in July 2007.
In august 2007 they present the script of a new feature film, "Elles
Trois" at the Cold Reading Series, a script reading event up in
Vancouver, BC. They win the Keith Provost Award.
Back in France, she shot another short, La ligue des amis imaginaires and is now working with producers in Paris on other projects, shorts
and features.
