Kate Tremills is an accomplished writer and producer. Well-known for
her versatility, she works in a variety of media and is successful both
in collaboration and her independent work.
She has also contributed her writing expertise to features such as "Bread," "They Wait," and several Lifetime movies. Most recently, Kate has mixed her background writing for high tech giants with her storytelling skills. The result has been several successes in the New Media/Multiplatform arena.
Kate wrote the script for the wildly popular "Iran: A Nation of Bloggers" - a motiongraphic video featured on Motionographer, Boing Boing, and the CBC. She also collaborated with Ryan FitzGerald on his IPTV series, "Radio Free Krakow," now being aired on Lifeforce TV. She is developing her own TV series and is working on a sci-fi, thriller web series.
In addition to screenwriting, Kate has contributed to magazines such as Elle Canada, Moving Pictures, Giant, IndieIN.com, and ScreenTalk. She's covered the Toronto International Film Festival, the AFI film festival, and the Seattle International Film Festival.
