Samata Narra, the newly appointed Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Inclusion Content Strategy at Warner Media Entertainment, was previously the SVP of Comedy Programming and Development at FOX, where she oversaw the execution of several critically acclaimed live action and animated comedy series, including The Last Man on Earth, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, and Bob's Burgers.
Prior to joining FOX, Samata served as a talent and literary manager at Fineman Entertainment, where she developed the series Lights Out for FX and produced the Emmy-nominated Meet the Patels, a romantic comedy documentary and festival favorite released in 2015.
A first-generation Indian-American raised in Eastern Kentucky, Samata is the President of the Board of Film2Future, serves on the board of the South Asian Women in Entertainment, and is on the Advisory Board of Carl Street, a large-scale data solutions company. She has been included in Marie Claire's "New Guard," The Hollywood Reporter's "35 Under 35," and Variety's "New Leaders.
