Antonello Cozzolino is a feature film and TV series producer at Attraction Images.
18 years of experience in production of feature films, TV series, advertising, transmedia and documentaries. Currently feature film producer at Attraction Images where he manages the film department from projects selection, development phases, financing and production (English and French).
His goal as a producer has always been to make films aimed to reach both critical and commercial successes. He strongly believes in a type of cinema that is intelligent and relevant, capable of touching millions of viewers. Throughout the years, He has gained the trust and respect from business partners as well as highly talented and recognized directors making sure projects get green lighted. He believes success is built on great content, human relationships and constant innovation in our ever-changing environment.
In 2012, Francis Leclerc and Arnaud Brisebois' short film Trotteur (2011) was nominated at the Genie Awards and in several festivals. It was awarded a Prix Jutra. In the spring of 2013, Antonello's first feature film was released in theaters in Québec: Émilie (2013), an interactive fiction deployed on several platforms. This project, unique in its genre, won amongst others, a Gémeaux award, Boomerang award, a Numix award, and was selected in several international festivals.
Antonello then produces Amsterdam (2013), Stefan Miljevic's first feature film and Nitro Rush (2016) by Alain Desrochers. In the fall of 2017, Barefoot at Dawn (2017) by Francis Leclerc hits theatres. The same year, the TV series The Siege (2017) scripted by Pierre-Marc Drouin and directed by Jim Donovan airs on Radio-Canada. In 2017, he also produces the limited documentary series ST-ÉLIE-DE-LÉGENDES created by Fred Pellerin and Patricia Beaulieu.
The projects keep on coming. In 2018, he produces 14 Days, 12 Nights (2019) by Jean-Philippe Duval mostly shot in Vietnam, as well as Mafia Inc (2019) by Daniel Grou inspired by André Noël and André Cédilot's best-seller book. These two films hit theaters in winter 2020.
In 2019, he produced Mon cirque à moi (2020), Miryam Bouchard's first feature film. It was released in August 2020. He currently devotes his time to the production of L'ARRACHEUSE DE TEMPS directed by Francis Leclerc and inspired by Fred Pellerin's tale of the same name.
In addition, he is presently collaborating with ALSO in producing PORTRAIT-ROBOT (Club Illico) and SORTEZ-MOI DE MOI (CRAVE), two shows that are set to air in 2021.
