- Is a big fan of action & horror movies, particularly both versions of the exploitation classics I Spit on Your Grave (1978); as well as early Pam Grier movies.
- Tony Watt met fellow actor/film-makers: Vivita & Martin Magee (as well as documentary film-maker Dominique Radwanski); when he hired them as co-hosts/crew for a film-maker showcase t.v. show; based out of the popular Toronto-based 'Cineforum' film theatre, owned by the infamous, controversial Toronto writer, magazine publisher and film archivist/screener/lecturer: Reg Hartt.
