Emily Marie Grant was born in Colorado to Karen and Bill, and has one
older brother. Emily Marie spent her youth dancing, singing, acting,
and playing violin in Colorado, Nebraska, and Washington, and graduated
from High School in California. She was very active in dance, the
Seattle Girls' Choir, sports, and jazz performances.
She holds degrees in Liberal Arts (De Anza College) and International
Business Management (California Polytechnic State University at San
Luis Obispo), and has been a part of many successful Silicon Valley
technology start-ups, including her own.
After years on stage, and in the recording studio, she fell in love
with film after working on
Blur (2011),
and immediately began filming multiple projects, including a
co-starring role in
Oceania (2008).
Throughout her career, Emily Marie has been a vocal advocate to reduce
domestic violence against women, and create awareness and improve the
rights of children with special needs. She has worked as a children's
pastor, a special education teaching assistant and advocate, a bank
manager, and a technology specialist.
She continues to act and model full time from her home base in the
Silicon Valley.
